General Reunion Information:
The reunion will be held from 9 am to Sunset on Saturday, July 26, 2008
It is planned as a very informal day at the beautiful
Pear Tree Point Beach, Darien CT (click link to view beach website)
It is an opportunity for everyone with an interest in Cherry Lawn to get together and have some fun. It is designed as a "family day" - kids of all ages are definitely welcome.
We will meet regardless of weather. It is up to you to decide how much rain it takes to keep you away! If it is a real downpour, attendees may elect to reconvene at a local restaurant. We generally seem to be very lucky with weather. There is also a very large gazebo at the beach in case of showers.
Beach rules at Pear Tree Point are pretty standard...
· No Visible Glass Containers!!! ·

· No Alcohol except in designated picnic area ·
· No Animals ·
· No Fires, except in provided barbecues ·
· No Tents or other temporary structures without special permit ·
...Okay, that's enough of the NO's!!!
There is a food concession - Basic junk food, hot dogs, fries and soda. Everyone is expected to bring whatever they need or want in the way of food, beverages, Charcoal for the grills, cups, plates and utensils.
Put simply: Nothing is being provided other than a location.
You may, of course, bring more than you need and share if you like, but it is not expected or required.
