The directory is organized alphabetically within graduating year for students, and just alphabetically for staff. People are listed alphabetically by last name as they were known at the time of graduation or attendance at the school. Students who attended CLS, but graduated from another school, are listed with an asterisk ('*') by their name at the end of the list of graduates of the last year they attended. For those having email addresses or Web pages, "hot" links are provided, so that you may send email or link to someone's Web page while visiting the directory. The directory follows.

About the directory

The Cherry Lawn School Directory is designed to help bring together old friends and classmates. Already, people have informed us that they have been able to reestablish old relations that have proved very meaningful to them. It is strictly a volunteer effort, both for those who maintain the directory and those who wish to be listed.

The school closed its doors over twenty five years ago. Yet, through the efforts of many people, we have been able to compile a near complete list of the names of all CLS high school graduates, roughly 1,100. All together, the directory provides current address information on over 500 people, but the whereabouts of the vast majority remains unknown to us. Any help in locating Cherry Lawners not already included in the directory would be greatly appreciated. If people are known to be deceased, this information also is included in the directory. Finally, if someone whose address was known to us has moved without leaving a forwarding address, we keep the old address but add the note "Last known address."

Guidelines

We are very sensitive to the issue of preserving individual privacy. Thus, we plan to follow these guidelines:

An individual's personal preferences have priority over all other considerations.
If a person's address/phone is already listed elsewhere on the Internet, such as on one of the electronic "white page" services, the person's address information also will be listed in the CLS directory unless requested not to do so.
People not wanting their information published in the CLS Web Directory will appear as "Unlisted", even if they are already listed elsewhere on the Internet.
Inquiries to the webkeeper regarding an "Unlisted" person will be forwarded to the person who, in turn, may or may not choose to contact the person who initiated the inquiry.
A person may choose to have only partial information appear on the CLS Web Directory, such as email address only or business but not home address and phone number.
