The first Cherry Lawn "Day at the Beach" was hastily organized and held on July 24th, 1998 at Weed Beach in Darien CT. We had no idea how many people would attend. As it turned out, there were about 70 people! The bulk of them were from surrounding New England, but a fair number came from as far away as Florida, Ohio and California. The filenames of these photos contain the names (L to R) of everybody whose name I know. If you can identify any of the ones designated as "unknown" please email corrections to me so I can fix them. I also welcome contributions of any additional photos that you would like to share with everybody. They can be emailed to me as attachments, or, if you don't have a scanner - mail the originals to Mike Manners - 53 Spencer Drive - Middletown, CT 06457. I'll scan them and send the originals right back to you.
